SUBMISSION PROCESS
In an effort to support independent filmmakers with compelling stories to tell, Katahdin Productions co-produces and executive produces a select number of films. Katahdin also provides nonprofit fiscal sponsorships, which enable film and video makers to seek and accept grants and donations from foundations, government funding agencies and individual donors.
Katahdin Productions selects projects with experienced production personnel and compelling subjects that fall within the mission of the organization. Katahdin provides fiscal oversight and ensures that the projects are produced with high professional standards and solid financial management.
Submissions for fiscal sponsorship should include the following:
Detailed project description
Audience and distribution plan
Fundraising plan
Budget
Timeline
Production personnel
Edited sample of the project and/or a prior work
